Mohammed Sanu – Michael Crabtree and Braylon Edwards are great wide receivers when they are on the game, but that’s also the problem. They seem like they are never on top of things. Whether injuries or drops, the 49ers wide receivers are terribly inconsistent. Sanu is a playmaker.

Secondary but important, Costanzo, Goldson.

Then in rd 2, look at a CB or Pass Rusher(DE or OLB)

any stud ballhawking FSes it would make sense to take with our 1st or 2nd rounder? with the new rookie wage scale we could probably still re-sign Goldson and just start whoever was making more plays. Goldson has forced a few turnovers this year, most memorably that vicious hit on Mike Williams that knocked the ball loose in the Bucs game, and he could still develop into that potential playmaker he flashes sometimes. but imagine how much better our secondary would be if we had that Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Palomalu-type elite FS.
